My own special world, my twinny world..

Just a few days left and i'm about to get a year older. still in 20++ , no need to reveal the exact age..haha

I'm grateful coz  in every year of my birthday celebration, i will get to celebrate it with my sister,...my twin sister.

Its a very special bonding...a whole life bonding

Growing up as twins, i usually receive common questions from people who are fascinate and wonder on the uniqeness of twins.

Some "frequently asked questions" will be...

1)  Q:  Are you two alike?

A: Much like regular siblings, twins have similarities-sometimes more so than others.  Fraternal twins share approximately 50% of the same genes while identical twins share nearly 100%.

I'm fraternal by the way! We dont really look exactly the same..hehe
What is fraternal? Fraternal twins occur when two separate eggs are given off during ovulation

Actually, whether identical or fraternal, each twin is their own separate individual with unique abilities and interests that defines who they are as a person.

There's so many funny incidents when people mistakenly differentiate us. haha...kelakar and sgt best! hehehe

2) Q: Do twins run in the family?

A: Yes, especially fraternal twins.  A typical person with no history of having twins in the family has a 1/150 chance of conceiving twins.  If one’s mother is a fraternal twin but her child is not, that child has a 1/90 chance of having twins.

In my family history..Yes, we have twins .. both in father and mother side.. in runs in the genetic

3)  Q: Do you like / Is it fun being a twin?

A: Sure!

After all, Studies have shown that both fraternal and identical twins have a special bond.  It starts at infancy—similar eating, sleeping, and behavioral habits (gestures) are noticeable.

As twins get older, they sometimes finish each other’s sentences or invent their own language.

As fraternal twins, the chance of “switching places” at school or anywhere is not that high.
Masa mula2 jumpa, people will say that we look the same. But, they will change their statement in an hour later. haha

However, we do have a special bond—one of growing up with a best friend who will experience the same things at exactly the same time in life

Vietnam Free Trip_Day 3: Cu Chi Tunnel, Palace & Gala Dinner

The 3rd day in Ho Chi Minh was really interesting! Enough of shopping for the past 2 days, the highlights were visiting historical places for Vietnamese, the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Palace. The Gala night was the last dessert of the 3rd day.
We started our day quite early since the journey from the hotel to Chi Chi Tunnel took about one and a half hour.

A brief background on Cu Chi Tunnel:

The tunnels of Củ Chi are an immense network of connecting underground tunnels and are part of a much larger network of tunnels that underlie much of the country. The Củ Chi tunnels were the location of several military campaigns during the Vietnam War in 1968.

The tunnels were used by Viet Cong guerrillas  as hiding spots during combat, as well as serving as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for numerous guerrilla fighters. The tunnel systems were of great importance to the Viet Cong in their resistance to American forces, and helped achieve ultimate military success.
